The Summit - A Valuable Resource
This one-day online experience, held on Wednesday 6 November, was well-attended and shared the latest thinking and cutting-edge strategies for reducing stress, improving mental health, and increasing wellbeing. It exemplified ISMAUK’s 2024 theme, Campaigning to Reduce Stress and Improve Wellbeing.
The Summit offered valuable tools that could be put to use immediately.
What Topics Were Covered?
The Summit featured over 20 expert speakers, all international thought leaders in their fields, who shared their knowledge and insights. We were especially delighted that ISMAUK Patron Professor Sir Cary Cooper CBE took part in the opening panel session.
There were four panel sessions and a lunchtime presentation -
- Beyond the Half Century: Reflecting on the Past, Charting the Future
- Community Care: How Organisations Champion Health, Safety and Wellbeing
- Building Resilience: Nourishing Your Body with the Right Foods and Supplements (lunchtime presentation)
- Fostering a Healthy Workplace Culture: Proven Strategies That Work
- AI and the Future: Minimising Stress in the Light of Technological Advancement
In addition to the panel sessions, there was also a free-to-attend live networking session, Getting to Know You, where delegates met ISMAUK members and other attendees from around the world.
The complete programme for the 2024 Global Online Stress & Wellbeing Summit can be accessed here and details of all the speakers can be found here.
