The International Stress Management Association [ISMAUK] is a registered charity and the lead professional body for workplace and personal stress management, supporting good mental health, wellbeing and performance.
We have been promoting sound knowledge and best practice in stress management, mental health and wellbeing, both nationally and internationally, for 50 years in 2024.
Through our register of professional practitioners, we offer support in the form of training courses and coaching to individuals as well as within commerce and industry.
Our theme for 2024 will be Campaigning to reduce stress and improve wellbeing. Our aim is to step up our campaign, reaching out and collaborating with individuals and other organisations who are working to reduce stress and improve lives, and to support those who are working to shape and deliver solutions - solutions that will help to reduce the high incidence of stress and mental health-related issues in our society today.
This theme will also be reflected during International Stress Awareness Week 4th – 8th November 2024.
International Stress Awareness Week is a major annual event focusing on stress management and campaigning against the stigma associated with stress and mental health issues. It attracts media attention worldwide.
International Stress Awareness Week 30th October – 3rd November 2023 was well supported and the centrepiece was Stress Awareness Day on Wednesday 1st November. Our Global Online Stress Summit on this day, the 25th anniversary of Stress Awareness Day, featured panel discussions on five high-profile topics:
If you missed the Summit live on 1st November, you can still watch all the sessions until the end of the year, as soon as you buy a ticket. You can see the 2023 Summit programme here, the speakers here, and you can still buy tickets here until 31st December.
