Adam is a partner in the employment law team at Aaron & Partners, Greater Manchester, specialising in workplace culture, employment rights, and discrimination law, with a focus on menopause and neurodiversity in the workplace. He advises organisations on fostering inclusive, psychologically safe work environments and is at the forefront of legal discussions on employee wellbeing.
A sought-after commentator, Adam has provided expert insights on workplace stress, discrimination, and employment law reforms for BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, The Guardian, and The Times. He has also given evidence before the Women and Equalities Committee.
Adam is committed to mental health advocacy and has collaborated with the British Standards Institution on workplace wellbeing initiatives, including a male suicide prevention policy. He works with HR leaders, developing robust frameworks that promote employee wellbeing while ensuring legal compliance. Adam is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Alastair is an accomplished event host, master of ceremonies and moderator. He’s hosted conferences, charity auctions, dinners and award ceremonies in the UK and Europe. He’s delighted to return as MC for his fifth ISMAUK Summit. Alastair has over 25 years’ experience presenting on television, video, radio and stage. He is a communications expert, specialising in generational communication and, with his company, Present Yourself, he helps individuals and organisations communicate more confidently and effectively. He leads insightful and interactive workshops on communication skills for clients looking to develop their presentation skills online, on camera, or on stage. As a TV presenter, Alastair has worked extensively on television in the UK and USA, appearing in documentaries, corporate videos and commercials. He has also interviewed over 500 business leaders for Business Reporter, where he is currently the senior journalist.
Amy is globally recognised as a highly experienced consultant in strategic health, mental health and wellbeing who has truly unique experience in her field. Amy has been working within health, mental health and wellbeing for almost 20 years and has a very distinctive skill set. She combines a clinical background - specialising in psychology – with expertise in mental health, occupational health, health analytics, and health insurance.
Amy’s background in running a digital mental health business, leading health and mental health internally at EY and, in recent years, being an external consultant, means not only that she has the ability to design strategic programmes, but that she also has the practical ability and experience to implement them effectively. Amy has attracted clients including Burberry, EU Parliament, Samsung and other well-known global organisations.
Andy Baines-Vosper is Head of Written Word and a listening volunteer at Samaritans. He is also the founder of Share the Weight - a suicide prevention campaign where he is on a mission to ask a million people for help to Share the Weight on his shoulders. He says, ‘The weight I carry is a 24.7kg bag of worries that symbolises the invisible burdens we all carry and weighs 24/7kg to remind people that Samaritans are there 24/7. After facing my own struggles including addiction, infertility, and depression, I now use this journey to show that the weight of life is too heavy to carry alone and that Together, we are stronger, and that Together, we Share the Weight’.
Dame Carol is currently the Government’s independent adviser on drug misuse. She is also Chair of the British Library, of the Centre for Ageing Better, and of Think Ahead, the Government’s fast-stream training programme for mental health social workers.
She is a member of RAND Europe’s Council of Advisers and the Commonwealth Secretary-General’s Special Envoy on Ageing Well.
In 2019 she completed a seven-year term as Principal of Newnham College, Cambridge University, where she was a Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
She is a past President of the Royal College of Physicians, of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, past Chair of the Nuffield Trust for Health Policy, and a previous trustee of the National Portrait Gallery.
Carole’s credibility is rooted in twenty years’ success as CEO of a leading UK stress management consultancy, working with equal success both in the UK and the Gulf. She is a well-respected authority on building resilience and communication skills, a BBC guest broadcaster and bestselling author of Show Stress Who’s Boss! Carole is Chair of the International Stress Management AssociationUK. On their behalf, she founded Stress Awareness Day in 1998 and established International Stress Awareness Week in 2018 to recognise its 20th anniversary. Carole is CEO of Carole Spiers Group and an international motivational speaker who is regularly called upon by the national press and media for comment. She was also past President of the London Chapter of the Professional Speaking Association.
Professor Cooper is a founding President of the British Academy of Management, Immediate Past President of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and President of the Institute of Welfare. Professor Sir Cary has been an advisor to the World Health Organisation in the field of occupational health and wellbeing and is Chair of the National Forum for Health & Wellbeing at Work. He is the author/editor of over 250 books on occupational health psychology, workplace wellbeing, women at work, and occupational stress.
Celynn Morin is a wellbeing consultant, author, and dietician with a playful approach to enriching lives. Founder of the Wellculator framework and the Wellbeing Clubhouse, she empowers leaders to sustain their health while building their wealth. An accredited HeartMath coach and Embodiment facilitator, Celynn specialises in epigenetics and gut health. She is a professional speaking fellow known for her joie de vivre and celebration of life. Born in South Africa, with roots in France’s Champagne region, she now lives in the UK, where she enjoys champagne, partner dancing, and inspiring others to connect mind, heart, body, and spirit
Dr Fernandes combines her expertise as an accredited specialist in Occupational Medicine with her extensive international experience across diverse industries, including pivotal roles at the BBC and Haleon. With a passion for sharing knowledge and best practice, she serves as an honorary lecturer in Occupational Medicine at Manchester University, is co-founder of the Occupational Health Academy, and also author of a leading medical textbook on Occupational Medicine.
Emma is a professionally accredited transformational coach. She retrained as a coach and started her business BeCoaching six years ago. Previously she spent 25 years in the travel industry, including 10 years on the executive board of a medium-sized group of travel companies and eight years as People Director.

Laura is a physiologist with more than 35 years’ experience working in both FE and HE sectors, teaching applied physiology, stress management and nutrition science for the healthcare professions. As a senior lecturer, now retired, she managed interdisciplinary teams, developing and delivering innovative curricula while bringing up three daughters on her own. She is still an Associate Tutor at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the University of Aberdeen. Laura is an author, qualified childbirth educator, yoga teacher, and life coach. She has also contributed to three textbooks for healthcare professionals and is a Fellow of ISMAUK.
