Join Paul Davison and Mark Lovatt for an interactive online workshop to consider the eight domains of Compassionate Safety. Moderated by Charlotte Turnbull, they will explore how these two words go together and how they relate to stress management and creating well beings. A holistic approach to safety requires individuals and organisations to go beyond physical safety, to accommodate psychological, emotional and spiritual safety needs. For this to take place within an environment where people can thrive and flourish, that environment needs to be a compassionate one.
This workshop will link this approach to human factors, non-technical skills and cultural evolution. It will ask questions, involving the audience in polls, a quiz, and breakout rooms, focused on issues such as -
Additionally, through our association with ISMAUK, we will highlight our ambition to bring into UK legislation the control and management of psychosocial factors harmful to health.

Paul sees every day as an endeavour to live up to PPWD values, placing people at the centre, and employing deliberate practice in making a difference and being effective, combined with a desire to learn, evolve and develop. Subsequently he spent 10 years as a senior operational leader with a large veterans’ charity. He is now an associate with PPWD and also runs his own business.
