Emma is a qualified Career Coach and has almost 20 years’ experience providing Career Development services both within the private sector and within Higher Education. Emma holds a BSc in Human Psychology from Loughborough University and an MSc in Occupational (Work) Psychology from the University of Hertfordshire. Before joining UH, Emma worked for BT in HR, where she was involved with Talent Management and Career Development Support.
Since moving into the Higher Education sector, Emma has held a variety of roles within the university of Hertfordshire Careers Service and Hertfordshire Business School, where she currently works supporting postgraduate and executive students with their professional development and career plans. She is passionate about understanding the role stress and mental health play in our career choices and experiences in the workplace.
