Associate membership is available to anyone interested in the field of Stress Management and students wishing to support their professional development and not yet qualified to apply for full membership. Additional information can be found here.

Professional Member status requires applicants to demonstrate two years relevant experience in the field of Stress Management and completed a programme of study to evidence you qualify for ISMA^UK Professional Membership level. Additional information guidelines can be found here:

You must have been a Professional Member for five years to be considered for a Fellowship.

Once you have registered as a member and been accepted you will receive an email with your login details.

You will be presented with the login page where you will need to input your username (your email address) and your password. Then click Log in which will take you to your membership detail page where you can amend your profile details in the relevant sections. Yes, this is available to help you promote your INSAD event.

You will just need to provide information of what you will be doing for INSAD, e.g. a talk, in-house or corporate event, community work etc. You will also need to provide some feedback after your event to ISMA. Information, and also free downloads will be available to you from the ISMA website to help and support your event. To register your name and event and obtain your logo contact us.

• ISMA runs regular ‘Mastermind’ groups - These are a small groups of Professional Members and Fellows – usually up to 4/5 people, who meet up via Zoom or Skype at self-determined intervals for topical discussions and reviews of the latest information. If you are interested in joining or starting a group, contact us. 
• Joining in our annual INSAD each November is a great way to collaborate with other members and share your knowledge. This often leads to on-going peer support.
• Also, our annual conference is another excellent way to meet other ISMA members and industry experts to share and exchange information. For many of our members they find it reaps unexpected rewards!

Course Recognition is open to Professional Members, Fellows, Colleges or Training Schools that run relevant courses. This annual recognition offers a level of quality assurance for the courses you provide, reassuring purchasers that your courses are of the highest standard and quality.

• This Journal is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles on all aspects of the theory, research and practice of stress prevention and wellbeing.

Yes.

• Colleges and Training Schools that deliver courses in stress management, wellbeing and resilience, performance at work and optional HSE compliant risk assessments (individual and organisational), can apply to have their courses Recognised. 
• Students obtaining a qualification from a course that fulfils ISMA^UK’s Membership Guidelines and have 2 years relevant experience (as described in the Guidelines) are able to become a Professional Member. 
• Students that join ISMA within 3 months of completing their course will receive a 20% discount on their 1st years membership fee.
• Associate Membership may be an option for some courses
• The Course Director/Trainer will need to be a Professional ISMA^UK Member and the Course needs to satisfy the assessment criteria, Details are here:

• Small: 2 – 25 employees
• Medium: 26 – 250 employees
• Large: 251 + employees

• ISMA’s Ambassadors are representatives, often from the business world and from a wide variety of backgrounds: e.g. Medical, Sports, SMEs, Academic, Public Sector, Private/Corporate Sector, Charity, Entrepreneurs.
• Also known as Influencers, they work specifically to help us reach as many people as possible across a variety of channels and platforms in order to raise our unique status within the field of Stress Management and Wellbeing, including Mental Health Awareness.
• It would certainly be advantageous, but not essential, to be a Member of ISMA.

Yes of course. 

• Contact ISMA to advise us of your change in circumstances and whether you expect this to be long or short term. If you return within a year, your membership can be reinstated with no additional administration charges.
• Longer than a year and you will be required to re-apply, but we will help you as much as possible to make the process straightforward. Please contact us.

There are two options for you:

• You can become a Retired Member: This is an ideal category for members who may be retired or no longer working and would still like to be part of ISMA^UK and receive all your cu benefits. There is a reduced subscription for our retired members. 
• You can become a Friend of ISMA^UK: This is for individuals with a personal or professional interest in the field who like to be updated of events and current thinking in the field of stress management. This is FREE.
