
I work with individuals on a 1-2-1 basis, and I also provide corporate wellness courses, workshops and team talks for companies. My studies and experience have been in nutrition, stress management, lifestyle and wellness, sports therapy, coaching & mentoring and cancer support.
Nutrition plays a huge part in supporting the body through stress. When we are stressed we change our eating habits, which in turn can affect our overall health and in particular our gut microbiome. Hence, bloating, indigestion, and digestive issues. When a body is stressed it needs vitamin C and zinc to support recovery. Joints and soft tissue are also affected by stress, my work in sports therapy and massage contributes towards helping people be aware of these areas and the optimal way to support them through stress.
The root of some disease is prolonged stress, I have experienced this myself and seen it in family and clients. Learning how to look after yourself through good nutrition and a health lifestyle can mitigage the effects of life stress.
Disturbed sleep is a huge side effect of stress. This also links to nutrition and joint issues. I am able to give the overall picture of how stress can affect your body in these ways, how this relates to stress and how to correct the issues and make you feel well and health again.
