Susan is a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine & Anaesthesia at the Homerton University Hospital. She has been on the frontline of dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic since it broke out and has been made more aware of the impact such psychological trauma can have on one’s mental health.

Throughout her career, it has been her passion to help colleagues within the medical profession both through teaching & training and also guiding them in career decisions. As such she has mentored junior doctors, is a Clinical & Educational Supervisor, is an Appraiser for the trust and has an educational role both independently and via the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
