Keith was appointed as a member of the Youth Justice Board in January 2018, and the Lord Chancellor appointed him as Chair of the Board in April 2020.

He became a Commissioner for the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities in July 2020. Prior to this, he was a police officer for 32 years and a senior officer for 14 years.

Keith is passionate about children and young people and supports others to get the best out of themselves.
