The highlight of International Stress Awareness Week 2020 will be our new online Global Stress and Wellbeing Summit*. It’s all happening online, due to the Covid-19 restrictions on public gatherings, so we’re expecting a much bigger worldwide audience!

Ending the stigma associated with stress and mental health and promoting wellbeing in the workplace are major ISMA goals. We’re focused on ensuring these issues remain high on the national agenda. The Summit will play a huge role in helping us achieve these objectives.

*The Online Global Stress and Wellbeing Summit 2020 was inspired by the Online Stress Summits of 2017 and 2018, organised by ISMA members in Belgium. We are very grateful to them as: without their hard work and commitment in staging those events, we would not be staging the Summit in the present expanded format.

What's On the Agenda?

The Global Stress and Wellbeing Summit will act as a hub for the latest thinking and guidance on stress management, mental health and wellbeing, with a different theme each day -

  • Monday 2 November: Mental Health and Wellbeing Today
  • Tuesday 3 November: Stress and Organisational Resilience
  • Wednesday 4 November: Leadership and Workplace Culture
  • Thursday 5 November: Business Tools for Successful Entrepreneurs
  • Friday 6 November: Tomorrow’s World and the Future of Work

These themes will be explored in keynote addresses, interactive panel discussions, ask-the-expert sessions, lunchtime activities and much, much more. There’s also a Round Table International Exchange on Stress Awareness Day itself on Wednesday 4th November.

Who Are the Speakers?

The online Summit will be opened by Lord Mark Price CVO, Founder, The Engaging Works Foundation, and Chairman, Fair Trade UK; past Deputy Chairman of the John Lewis Partnership and Managing Director of Waitrose.

The Summit programme varies every day, focusing on stress management initiatives, workplace happiness, nutrition and wellbeing, organisational resilience, entrepreneurial strategies, diversity and culture, amongst other subjects. Please note that ticket-holders can view all sessions in real time, or at another time of their choice during the week of the Summit 2-6 November. All Summit sessions will cease to be available after Friday 13th November. Download facilities are not available for any session.
