If you attended OUR GROWTH 2016 conference, then you'll already know that this event is one you must attend. The day will be packed with insightful and inspirational general sessions focusing on developments in this key branch of mental health. Innovative new ways to manage stress. The impact of changing technology. Business growth breakouts. And opportunities to use networking to grow your own operation.

Improve your skills and increase your knowledge of stress management by utilising new research that will give you the opportunity to implement the latest available knowledge in the stress management and health promotion field – both nationally and internationally.

During the afternoon, you'll be immersed with proven business experts, to debate the use of effective interventions, both in corporate life and for those working in isolation. You’ll find you'll walk away with practical strategies for you to implement immediately.

Also take part in our new survey of the industry, with results to be publicised on International Stress Awareness Day (Wednesday 1st November 2017).

"The Stress Cure"

Are your clients caught in the adrenaline trap? Did you know the symptoms of adrenaline dominance include body aches including panic attacks and general anxiety, sleeping problems, high blood pressure, low mood, weight gain, lack of sex drive and enjoyment?

Most people think that adrenal hormones are only triggered by stressful thoughts, but blood sugar dips, and a lack of progesterone also cause adrenal hormone levels to rise. We end up constantly tired and 'hooked' in a pattern of stress, craving stimulants, sugar and alcohol. There is a way out.

Keynote by Jonny Benjamin MBE, Mental Health Campaigner, Writer, Film Producer, Public Speaker

In 2015, Jonny became a producer at Postcard Productions and helped to make the acclaimed Channel 4 documentary 'The Stranger on the Bridge'.  He continues to vlog on YouTube and his videos have been watched by over half a million people whilst being shared on social media by the likes of Stephen Fry and being used as an educational tool in schools and universities.

"The Journey To Hope And Recovery"

His 2014 social media campaign with Rethink Mental Illness to #FindMike, the man who talked him out of jumping off a bridge when he was suicidal, went viral and led Jonny to becoming a prominent spokesperson on the subject of suicide.
