As ISMA Chair it was most satisfying & fulfilling to head-up ISMA’s 2016 international conference in London. The conference delivered important insights into current thinking about stress, & it attracted a full house of distinguished attendees who related well to each other. Stress-related problems continue to pose a serious challenge, both in the home and in the workplace, & our speakers shared their professional experiences with an audience eager for new ideas. Feedback has been most appreciative & everyone tells me they’re looking forward to next year’s conference.

I congratulate Carole for bringing together this international gathering and for creating such a positive space for sharing learning and networking. I am also very grateful for the opportunity to have done a workshop about 'Turning your Knowledge into Income' and answering everyone's questions on publishing and how to create a profitable platform to share your passion with others. With the quality of everyone I met I know that ISMA is going to go from strength to strength.

The conference provided a remarkable, authoritative insight into the problems that arise out of stress in the workplace and how they are so easily transferred into our personal lives. I've never seen such a range of experts gathered in one room for any conference and their passion in sharing advice and guidance was infectious!

Chris Roycroft-Davis, Former Executive Editor of the Sun

The conference provided an excellent insight into the understanding of stress and what it is to be suffering from such a crippling yet silent disease. I feel very pleased and honoured to have been asked to speak about Stress amongst the ethnic communities and I also took away many new ideas from the conference. I hope to be actively involved for years to come.

Deep Rajah Dhir, Broadcaster, Dilse Radio

It was a pleasure to compére the ISMA conference. There was an incredible buzz about the event. I was particularly impressed with the generous spirit of the delegates, experts and speakers, who shared their knowledge freely. It struck me as a one-stop shop for everything to do with stress management. I host a lot of conferences and don’t often learn much. ISMA was different, I made lots of notes. I took away some valuable insights into how to manage my own stress when speaking onstage.

Noxious stress and its health effects have been increasingly addressed by several of the United Nations Specialized Agencies & many National Governments. Their recommendations sum up to a clear mandate for all of us not only to try to reduce pathogenic stress, but also to promote physical and mental health, at work & outside it. The ISMA Conference demonstrated a widespread awareness, & an intention to practice stress management in such an integrative & inclusive manner.

It was a great pleasure to speak at the ISMA conference on ‘Using Nutrition to Reduce Stress’. I was very impressed by the interest shown from the participants and their questions regarding the dietary interventions to control stress and how we can address stress from both the psychological and physical aspects at the same time. The conference was very well organised and the other speakers were excellent sharing their insights into stress management.

It’s splendid to be in a conference room where everyone is focused on seeking to make life better, calmer and more enjoyable for others. The ISMA participants threw themselves into the challenges put before them. In my expert’s session on giving great answers in media interviews the stress practitioners were happy to volunteer their toughest questions and worked hard at applying the golden formulae I shared with them to create better answers for their next media interaction.

The ISMA conference was an inspiring international event with experts giving informative papers and keynotes on a range interesting stress and wellbeing related topics. With delegates from Australia, Austria, Brazil, Belgium, Holland, Peru, Russia and Sweden there was  an excellent opportunity for networking. The conference provided useful Continuing Professional Development too.

Prof Stephen Palmer, Honorary President, International Stress Management Association (UK)

I recently spoke at the ISMA Conference in London and my talk was about ‘How to use LinkedIn to grow your business’. This was the first time I had attended the conference & as a non-member of ISMA I was not sure what to expect. I was really impressed by the level of knowledge in the room and the range of subjects covered during the day. Stress is of course a very serious subject and it impacts all of us from time to time, whilst for others is a serious medical condition that they live with. However, each speaker managed to get his, or her point over in an interesting way.
